Team Leader/Dental Assistant
I have been involved in dentistry for over 25 years, graduating from St. Clair College in Windsor in 1991 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Shortly after graduating, I was hired as a full-time receptionist, with some assisting chairside when needed. Within a year or so, I continued on to the University of Western Ontario, where I completed the Level 2 Assistant Certification program.
Keeping Things Lively
In December 1994, my husband and I had our first daughter, Rebecca, and in 1996 my second daughter, Madeline, was born. I returned to work on a full-time basis working chairside. Along with seeing patients, I enjoy promoting our office, advertising/marketing, photography, decorating, and keeping it lively! Our team has been blessed with several continuing education experiences over the years. I believe our office provides and strives for excellence on a daily basis, and the people I work with are like extended family.
Outside of the office, I enjoy all sports, travel, continuing education, and wine!
I have been enjoying my career as a Dental Assistant since 1998, graduating from St. Clair College in Windsor. Over the years I have welcomed a variety of changes within my field exploring multiple roles from Hygiene Coordinator, reception and also chair side assisting, always helping to ensure the patient's comfort.
I am an active member of the ODA and maintain my certification yearly through continuing education. I am confident that we as a team will all do our very best in helping our patients maintain optimal health!
Outside of work, my husband Aaron and I keep busy raising our two daughters Ryland and Graye, we enjoy sports, travel and our family.
Over the past 20 years, I have experienced different jobs within the dental field. I originally graduated from Career Canada in Hamilton as a Dental Assistant, after studying in the nursing field. I then continued my education at Western University, completing the Level 2 Dental Assistant program, along with comprehensive training in Orthodontics.
Right at Home
In May 2014, I joined the team at Dr. Karen Davis and Dr. John Milne Dentistry and immediately felt at home. Here, I enjoy working chairside with both Dr. Karen and Dr. John, assisting the hygienists with treatment care and keeping our day running smoothly ... you might even catch me at the front desk helping Ann out too!
Outside the office, my husband Terry and I have 4 children that keep us busy and entertained. We enjoy boating, travel and entertaining family and friends.
